The 120-volt/60-hertz remote control installs quickly, even in pre-mounted fans, and it operates with a 9-volt battery (included). UL- and CUL-listed, and compatible with most ceiling fan brands, the 7787000 can handle a fan maximum of 1 amp and a lighting fixture maximum of 300 watts.
